Exam:

"Gulp of Genius" Intellectual Property 2009 Final [PDF]

Required Books and Materials:

  1. Fundamentals of Intellectual Property: Cases & Materials, by Thomas G. Field Jr. (2009)

This book is available for free download here.

The book is apparently also available via print-on-demand for about $18 from Town & Country Reprographics in Concord, NH.

  2. Intellectual Property: Examples & Explanations, Third Edition by Stephen M. McJohn
List Price: $44.95 Imprint: Aspen Publishers Published: 2009 ISBN: 9780735577336 Paperback: 560 pages

This book can be purchased at the UND Bookstore.

You can order it directly from Aspen Publishers here.

You can order from Amazon here.

If you choose free shipping, you should be able to get the book soon enough. The earliest class day for which I plan to assign reading out of it is September 10, 2009.

  3. TurningPoint ResponseCard

You may buy either the "TurningPoint ResponseCard RF," model no. RCRF-01, or, at your option, you can buy the fancier and slightly more expensive "TurningPoint ResponseCard XR," model no. RCXR-01, which should be available online if not in the bookstore.

If you are taking a class offered by Professor Rhonda Schwartz or Professor Kit Johnson, YOU ONLY NEED ONE RESPONSECARD FOR ALL CLASSES. There is no need to buy multiples.

If you are ordering a clicker online and it is just for my class, you have a little time. I will not ask you to use or bring the clicker to class, until, at the earliest, September 3, 2009.

Reading for the First Day of Class (August 27, 2009):
